It is a “Villa” obtained from a Benedictine Monastery of the XII° century very well restored, situated in the middle of a vast forest including a game-preserve with abundant native game such as muflons, fallow deer and wild boar.
A very small village embraces The Monastery, the Church and the houses originally used by servants and nuns.
The Church dating back to the XI° century, is one of the  five examples of Benedictine architecture with a three–mullioned window apse and a crypt .
